"This will be a long review because we arent your typical program students. We are the socially awkward engineer-types who want to live life but have anxiety and fear on almost irrational levels. And here, that's okay! We still learned to dance!
They have a set program that if you follow will get you leading and folllowing in no time, and even ready for competitions. We see happy ballroom dancers every time at this place. That just isnt our goal.
I got cancer and wanted to put a little more life into my life. My partner went with me because I needed a dance partner. He wasnt thrilled when we started.
We went off program, and this studio adjusted. The. Most. Patient. People. Ever.
How is it going? We went to Ireland and danced a polka on the Cliffs of Mohr. We went to Disney and were asked by the castmembers to move our lindy hop to center stage. Im still horrible at two step, and the people with beer at Billy Bobs dont care. Sure other people can go to country bars and do line dancing or group lessons cheaper. Fact is I dont want to feel awkward around all the extroverts, and Im old enough and honest with myself enough to know I wont.
My partner really likes learning without the pressure. I like dancing without criticism.
Cannot recommend any place more than this studio. Can we give it ten stars?"

"We just started our 4th year/ season dancing at Arthur Murray Ft. Worth. It started off as a Christmas gift inspired by dancing with the stars, and now it has become our hobby and our escape. The instructors are AMAZING, and they offer not only private lessons, but also group lessons and Friday dance parties. Even showcases and competitions when you're ready.
Highly recommend trying out a month or two of weekly or biweekly lessons - I bet you'll not want to stop!"
